| I made a new layout. Le Petit Prince! the profile pic is one of the original illustrations by Exupery himself that I colored in on the computer one day when I was bored. Must have been last summer or christmas break. I am now on summer vacation, my first of the college years. Its crazy that I'm already done with 1 year at Central! Next year looks to be awesome. I have a single room with incredibly awesome neighbors, I'm taking interesting classes and then hopefully in the spring semester I will be studying in Wales! So I think it wont be miserable to go back, which is good. I wasn't ready after Christmas. They tease you by giving you a month, and by then it feels like its summer break length but nope...they drag you back! I'm not complaining about the length though...it was nice. Yeah.

| oh wow, I haven't updated this thing in FOREVER. well...lots has happened. I'm now in my second semester of college and just barely at sophomore standing. I made the deans list last semester, I got an croovy onxy cube with a little silver fall 2006 plaque to stick on it. they make you work for it.  I'm enjoying my classes, but...the story isn't bad so far but its 37 pages long...short story my foot! I'm not too concerned about finishing before I have to return it (its on reserve), because if I dont I'll just skip tomorrow and thats alright with me because I have 5 classes (counting french lab) tomorrow anyway, and thats a lot. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be pledging to AZX, I never thought I'd join a fraternity but they're cool people and don't haze you and if I want out at anytime I can leave, no problem. so why not? yeah...thats all I got.

| so I've been neglecting you. its not that I haven't had the time...I just haven't felt like it. and I dont know why. well I got a haircut http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v434/pantstheterrible/moi/100_0548.jpg and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v434/pantstheterrible/moi/100_0549.jpg are a couple pics of it. I've moved on to campus. my room is lovely and so are my classes for the most part. I've been getting more homework than i've every gotten before, but I dont feel quite overwhelmed yet. yay. and I've just realized how I've is a very strange word.

| wow I've been neglecting this. well...I'll just make a list of things to say
- Went to the state fair, lots of fun and lots of walking. and lots of food! we took the shuttles this year, so we didn't have to conquer the steep hill and traffic. 50 cents per person one way.
- family reunion, far away, lots of good food and family
- TIRED. 4th day in a row I've had to get up early. two days of double shifts at work, dishes for both on one of them.
- Work study, CUIFS, M/W/F supper in dish, every other sunday supper in bakery.
- Busy, I work every day until Saturday when I move in, and I still have to do all my packing. but I can use two suitcases and I got space bags yesterday, so that will make it a lot easier.
I think that's it. yep.

| I picked up my new glasses yesterday morning and took a picture
the glare lies, they're darker than that. a deep lavender. and then this morning Megan and I went to see our dormroom. its really quick to get to using the elevator. It's small of course, but not too small. Right now the beds are lofted
just enough so the dresser and bookshelf go under, and we're thinking
we're going to leave it like that. We might move them though. And the
mirror over the sink opens so we can put some stuff there. Nice closet
space, if we can't fit it (where we can get to it) anywhere else the
fridge can go in mine. I'm not going to use it all. The desks are
really nice too and we have a nice view of the pond from the window. And ac of course. That is so sweet. And we're nicely located by bathroom. Two stalls and two showers between...not sure
how many people. 16 people? But most people shower in the morning and I
do it at night so I should be fine. And if I get desperate enough I can
just bike home and shower lol. I'm excited. I can really see myself
